JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Transportation Supervisor to manage a team of drivers and fleet, ensuring D.
O.
T safety compliance and proper maintenance of the fleet.
Only apply if you have a minimum of five years, recent transportation supervisory experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES Manage day-to-day transportation activities throughout Southern California and Nevada.
Build loads, set schedules, dispatch drivers.
Supervise drivers to achieve timely, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries of over 100 trailers per day.
Keep track of delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
Develop and implement procedures that minimize driver downtime and improve fleet safety.
Implement training protocol for all drivers at multiple locations.
Use software to monitor deliveries, optimize operations and driver productivity.
Evaluate driver performance, provide guidance and feedback, and discipline as necessary.
Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and local regulations.
Organize documentation and oversee procedures for periodic D.
O.
T audits of the transportation department.
REQUIRED SKILLS Minimum five years of supervisory experience, Agriculture industry preferred.
Record of successful transportation management Ability to lead and manage staff.
Knowledge of D.

T Regulations.
